At My Home Made Better, we believe that every home should be warm, energy-efficient, and affordable to run - and we’re here to help you make that happen.

My Home Made Better is a charity-led initiative, offering completely free, expert advice to residents across Hampshire, Southampton, and Portsmouth. Whether you’re looking to improve your insulation, upgrade your heating system, or explore renewable energy options, our friendly team is here to guide you through the process.

Who we are

The Environment Centre (tEC) is an independent charity based in Southampton that has helped thousands of local residents feel more confident with their home energy, access grants for home improvements and save money on their energy bills.

These organisations have years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in home energy efficiency. WinACC and PeCAN have previously collaborated on the National Energy Foundation’s SuperHomes project, which helped over 300 households develop whole-home retrofit plans.

Energy Alton has a long history in the energy sector, including co-delivering a project to help microbusinesses save energy, and establishing HESTA – it’s Home Energy Support Team Alton.
